Being Human: The Astrology of June 2-8, 2025

Empathetically driven guidance for navigating our collective experience.

🖤

Amidst confounding grief,

we learn that joy is

the deepest form of resistance.

This week is relational and human.

There is a way in which this week is really sort of fun and flirty due to a continuation of heavy Mercury transits and an abundance of sextiles.

Sextiling signs tend to really adore each other— together they experience stimulation, but not overstimulation. They communicate effectively and provide some sort of form, fuel, or nourishment that supports the other’s expression. They speak sister languages; they appreciate each other’s difference because it helps them be themself. Fire and air, when sextile, operate much like a fire that builds with ease due to a hearty, but not overburdensome, oxygen supply. Each builds on the other to provide a sufficient and appropriate amount of warmth. Glowing fire. Warm room.

The flirtatiousness of sextiles is emphasized by the nature of the planets making them this week. On Wednesday, passionate and wild Venus in Aries sextiles abundant and communicative Jupiter in Gemini. Thursday, hyperspeed Mercury in Gemini, which wants to talk to and understand and communicate everything, sextiles Mars in Leo, which wants to put on a big display and be recognized and applauded for what it physically performs. On Friday, we have the third sextile which is between Mercury in Gemini and Chiron in Aries. These transits are all active at the same time, meaning we’ll be able to feel the impacts of each while under the others.

Together, this is huge for communication, learning, connecting, and honestly, I think, embodying some deeply human experiences. Mercury, Venus, and Mars are relational— they’re foundational to how we interact with and understand both the world and ourselves. I’ll reiterate my advice from last week— use this week to connect, connect, connect.

Get inspiration. Learn new things. Communicate your findings. Talk about what matters to you. Get out in the community and it will show you new ways to find joy, illumination, and inspiration, and to not only feel these in your body but to allow it to physically move and animate you.

Remember that we are bleeding, breathing vessels. The healthier our hearts, the stronger our breath.

Cardio with community. Speaking from the heart. Dance class. Concerts. Movement. Performance. Poetry. Inspiration, out loud, visible, and shared. All of it is healing.

This is human. Remember.

On Friday, Venus will exit Aries (her detriment) and enter Taurus (her exaltation). Here, Venus finds pleasure and beauty in the physical realm and earthly delights. Gardens. Teas. Forests. Trees. Food. Ground. Rivers. Forest. Softness. Nature. Touch. The Body. The Here and Now. The This: this all around, this right here, this which is under my feet.

Venus in Taurus helps us remember that we are of this Earth. To appreciate how beautiful it is. To literally physically touch it and feel it, not just physically but emotionally as well. To preserve your sacred existence as an organic being.

All of this is going to be incredibly important. In last week’s horoscope, I predicted a new AI release. It came. I had no idea how big it would be.

With the release of Veo 3, we have finally reached a technological development that has been determined by philosophers and scientists, for some time, as the only conceivable indicator, that is both logically sound and feasibly possible, for the support of simulation theory. That is, our entire existence taking place inside a computer-generated simulation would be impossible until we were able to create a digital environment that was indistinguishable from the real one. On a visual (and 2D, as far as I know) level, this has occurred. I am preventing myself now from going any further on simulation theory, which I agonized for years over before I knew it by name, and then dove into researching for the duration of my Bachelor’s degree.

I am freaking out about the state of humanity right now. How incredibly quickly we are headed toward a place that is so unfathomably new. We’re already here.

And I want us to remember where we’ve been— where we come from.

Soil. Water. Fire. Air.

The Earth.

Right before Mercury leaves Gemini for Cancer on Sunday, it conjoins Jupiter at 29° Gemini. Lucky connections. It’s a beautiful signature. It’s absolutely abundant in connections, communication, biological and chosen siblinghood, and shared sense of witnessing and understanding. It’s a huge burst of verbal energy, which can be so beautiful and inspiring. It can be super lucky for anything you’re doing that has to do with getting your thoughts out there and seen and expanded- like you may get connected to someone that totally allows your expression to expand. It’s like a ton of information is delivered.

Because it’s Gemini, though, it can be chaotic. It may come as a huge frazzled burst. (Lol at my friend who Fox at feral & fervent, who this has come super literally for). It can also be super fast, like the wind on a roller coaster. This speed is amazing and exhilarating and it makes you feel alive, but you need to come back to earth and drink some water after.

Water comes because Mercury then moves into Cancer.

Drink some water. Notice how it makes you feel. Allow it to calm, restore, and nurture. Remember that Water is Life, and this is a biological truth. Consider how you can bring more water into your life, be it daily, weekly, or monthly. Can you drink more water every day? Can you get in a body of water? Whatever it is, I invite you to be more mindful of your relationship with water, and with the local water around you. How are you part of it?

Water is life and all water is recycled. All water is shared.

And of course here, we must remember that people are without water. Specifically Gaza. Gaza. Gaza. Gaza. The people are starving, parched to death. It is only by Evil that humans are kept from water. Our siblings are undergoing a holocaust. In every sense of the word. Water is trying to get to Gaza. My anger is now deep and utter disgust.

Grief, grief, grief.

Water falls and fuels and releases and degrades and evaporates and transmutes and restores and then falls again.

Water is an essential component to sustain all organic life forms. Water is constantly being recycled.

All water has traveled. All water is shared. None of it is yours alone.

The water is awaiting your grief.

The water flows through every single one of us until it doesn’t anymore.

But water is trying to get to Gaza. It is not there. It’s not its fault.

Allow your grief to surface. Carry it to your local water. Shoulder the weight of it, and then allow the water to relieve the burden of gravity. Water knows emotion. It is not afraid. It does not turn away at the feeling of your tears— it rises up to meet them. It reminds you that if you are here feeling this, you are human. To suffer is to be human; to grieve is to be human.

Let the water hold your grief. Let it wash away the immobilizing weight, but never the lessons on life that you learned. Never forget.

Never forget. Never forget. Never forget.

For as long as I live, I will Never Forget this. WW2 is done. But WW3 is probably underway. And babies are living skeletons, for all of us to see.

I will never forget the life and water taken.

I will never forget. I will never forget. I will never forget.

I will remember what it is to be human.
